BEAUTICIAN

Hours: 15 hours per week depending on availability

The Wayne County Care Center is accepting applications for the position of beautician for the County’s 50 bed skilled.

The Beautician is responsible for providing hair and salon services to the facility residents.  The person must be driven to engage the residents in order to support their emotional as well as physical condition.  The Beautician should be self-managing, possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills, as well as be observant and caring. A positive, compassionate, enthusiastic attitude with genuine desire to help enrich the lives of residents are required for this position.

Successful candidates will have a dedicated work ethic, support teamwork, and share a deep commitment to the seniors we serve. As a County organization, the Care Center provides OPERS retirement.

The Care Center also maintains higher than average staff-to-resident ratios to ensure the best possible care for our residents and to support the staff who work here.
