Position: LPN

Department: Nursing

Hours: all shifts

Days: part time with every other weekend

The Wayne County Care Center is accepting applications for the position of Full Time LPN for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing and 20 bed assisted living facility.

Successful candidates will have a dedicated work ethic, support teamwork, and share a deep commitment to the seniors we serve. As a County organization, the Care Center provides excellent benefits that include low cost health coverage, OPERS retirement, and a free health clinic. The Care Center also maintains higher than average staff to resident ratios to ensure the best possible care for our residents and to support the staff who work here.

The LPN will be responsible for providing the direct nursing care to the residents and to provide guidance and assistance to the activities performed by STNAs and hospitality aides. this may include supervision of the shift. The nurse must ensure that patient care is handled appropriately, including documentation and procedures, follow care plan, and that communication with other staff members is provided in order to provide the best experience for the resident and other staff Must participate in facility inspections as needed and perform administrative duties as needed.

Experience in Long Term Care and PointClickCare is preferred.
