Position: LPN Floor Nurse                    Department: Nursing
Hours: 6 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (36 hours)
Days: 3 days per week includes every other weekend
The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of full time LPN for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing facility.
Responsibilities of the LPN:
⦁    Provide professional nursing care to the residents
⦁    Direct and assist the day to day functions of the nursing assistants
⦁    Keep the facility staff in compliance with licensure regulations
⦁    Ensure charting/ documentation is completed in a timely and complete manner
⦁    Communicate with all departments in order to provide quality service
⦁    Ensure that staff are mentored to provide constant, quality resident care  
Requirements of LPN:
⦁    Valid LPN license
⦁    Experience in Point Click Care and long term care preferred
⦁    Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care
⦁    Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member who can take direction well
⦁    Adaptable and able to work under pressure
