RN Floor Nurse
Position: RN- floor nurse Department: Nursing
Hours: 6 a.m. -6:30 pm
Days: FT – 3 days per week
The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of full time Staff Development Coordinator for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing and 20 bed assisted living facility.
Responsibilities of the RN supervisor:
- Planning, organizing and directing the overall operation fo the Nursing Department during the shift
- Keep the facility staff in compliance with regulations that govern the facility
- Ensure patient care is handled appropriately, including documentation and procedures, in a timely manner
- Follow care plans, do rounds with the Dr. and enter orders
- Communicate with other staff to ensure residents are provided with the best experience possible
- Ensure that staff are mentored to provide constant, quality resident care
- Must participate in facility inspections as needed and perform administrative duties
Requirements of RN supervisor:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 1-year health care experience, in a supervisory role
- Experience in Point Click Care preferred
- Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service and excellence in senior care
- Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member who can take direction well
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure
