Position: STNA

Department: Nursing

Hours: 6 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., 6 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.

Days: Full time

The Wayne County Care Center is accepting applications for the position of Full Time STNAs for the County’s 50 bed skilled/ intermediate nursing and 20 bed assisted living facility.

The Care Center also maintains higher than average staff-to-resident ratios to ensure the best possible care for our residents and to support the staff who work here.

The STNA will be responsible for the direct care of residents. This includes transporting, assisting with serving food, bathing, changing, personal care, changing bed linens, recording resident measurements and vitals, and assisting with turning/ positioning, in order to make the resident more comfortable. The STNA is the primary contact with the residents and must be caring, patient, and able to communicate with those who may not be able to communicate for themselves.
